In Unit 3, students will learn about important topics in hands-on and meaningful ways. With support from their teachers, students examine books, pictures, artwork, and ideas closely to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Children explore science and engineering, learn about Maine’s history and communities, and work with new and familiar materials. Through projects, students share their thinking and show what they have learned in creative and exciting ways.
