Bangor - The Maine Marine Patrol is currently searching for an unidentified male who was witnessed jumping from the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge into the Penobscot River today at 1:46 pm.
The Marine Patrol is joined in the search by the Bangor and Brewer Police and Fire Departments. A Maine Forest Service helicopter is also participating in the search and the Maine Underwater Recovery Team will be joining the search.
