Can I pick up my license once issued?

No, your license will be emailed to you.

How long does the application process take?

It usually takes about two (2) weeks to process applications.  You may check the status of your application by clicking on the link listed below:

Do I need to complete continuing education?

Dietetic technicians must obtain 10 credits annually; a minimum of 4 credits must be obtained from category #1.  Chapter 2, Section (3)(B).

Dietitians must obtain 15 credits annually; a minimum of 4 credits must be obtained from category #1.  Chapter 2, Section (3)(B).

Temporary License holders do not need to complete continuing education.

I cannot find my license certificate. Can you send me a duplicate?

You may request a duplicate license online. There is no charge to have a replacement emailed to you.

I hold a Temporary License. Do I need to complete continuing education?

No, temporary licensees are not required to complete continuing education.

I hold a Temporary License. Can I renew my temporary license?

Yes, the board may approve the renewal of a temporary license one time only.  Please refer to board rules, Chapter 2, Section D for more information.

How long is my temporary license valid for?

All temporary licenses are issued for one (1) year.
