Charitable Solicitations Act - Licensing - Professional Solicitors

"Professional Solicitor" means any person or entity licensed by the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation who, alone or through employees or agents, solicits contributions from the public on behalf of a Charitable Organization in exchange for a fee or other remuneration. "Professional Solicitor" does not include a bona fide employee, bona fide salaried officer, attorney, and accountant or investment counselor of a Charitable Organization.

Any person who submits an application for renewal more than 90 days after the expiration date shall be subject to all requirements governing new applicants. You will need to reapply.

Requirements

You can expect to receive an email renewal reminder approximately 60 days prior to expiration. A late fee of $50.00 is assessed for licenses renewed after the license expiration date. (December 1 - March 1).
