Do I need to pass a test?

Yes. You must get 70% correct in order to pass.

Once I pass the exam, how do I become licensed?
Twenty-four hours after passing exam you can use our online licensing system to apply for a license. Alternatively, you may also download a licensure application (PDF).

After I have had my Journeyman-in-Training license for a minimum of one year and have a minimum of two-thousand hours of plumbing work experience how do I apply for a Journeyman license?

You will need to obtain an Affidavit (PDF) from your supervising Master plumber attesting to a minimum of one-year and two-thousand hours of licensed work experience and submit the Affidavit with your license application. You can use our online licensing system to apply for a license and upload your Affidavit to the application in pdf form. Alternatively, you may download a licensure application (PDF).

I cannot find my license certificate. Can you send me a duplicate?
You may request a duplicate license online. There is no charge to have a replacement emailed to you.

Is my application confidential?
No. With the exception of Social Security Number, all application information is public. Contact information provided to the Board is posted on our website.
