2025 Renewal Forms

NMLS License Renewals

The 2025 Renewal Period ended Dec. 31, 2024. The Reinstatement Period has begun and will end at midnight EST on Feb. 28. The NMLS Call Center (1-855-665-7123) is available to assist during reinstatement from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. EST, Monday – Friday, but will be closed for observed Federal holidays. The best times to call are early mornings (9 – 10 a.m. EST) and evenings (after 5 p.m. EST).

License Transitions

The transitional period for registered consumer reporting agencies and debt management service providers to transition their Maine registration to NMLS ended December 31, 2024. The Bureau will accept late transition requests through January 31, 2025, but applicants will be assessed a late fee of $100.
