NMLS License Transitions

NMLS License Transitions for the following license types are open:

  • Payroll Processors (all license types). The Bureau has extended the license transition period for payroll processor licensees. Payroll processor licenses expiring January 31, 2024 have been extended to February 29, 2024 and licensees may apply to transition their licenses to NMLS through February 29, 2024 without incurring a late fee.

Please note: while recently published Bureau Rules make the changes necessary to transition several additional license and registration types to the NMLS, only the above industries are able to transition licenses to NMLS at this time. As transition dates for other industries become available, they will be published on the Bureau's website HERE.
