Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection

🛈 The Bureau will be closed Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday.

🛈 Starting September 1, 2025, the Bureau began receiving new and converted Electronic Surety Bonds (ESB) through NMLS for certain license and registration types. For more information, please see the Bureau's ESB Page.

Please note: NMLS license items for surety bond conversions will not clear automatically. Bureau staff will clear the license items once their review is complete. In some cases, license item may show as active for a few weeks after your company has converted to an ESB.
