Tours are available Monday and Thursday afternoons, June 26 through September 1, 2022.
To access the island, please make a reservation with Balmy Days Cruises in Boothbay Harbor. You will board the “Novelty” at Pier 8, which departs from the Harbor at 1:45pm and returns at 4:30pm. Former Burnt Island Keepers will be available to share about Burnt Island’s history, its working lighthouse, and their experiences as Keepers. There will also be time to explore the five-acre island.
