Evidence Unit

The HETL Forensic Chemistry Section will be open to accept evidence submissions & return evidence by appointment only on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays between 8:30am – 4:00pm. As a reminder, both blood & urine toxicology kits can be mailed to HETL and blood toxicology kits can also be dropped off at the Augusta Police Department dropbox.

Make an Appointment

Appointments must be made with the Evidence Unit prior to submission of any seized drug or toxicology evidence.

Any evidence that is ready for return will be transferred back to the submitting agency at the next appointment before any new evidence is accepted
