There are several workgroups that help guide important Maternal Health work across Maine. The collaboration of many different people and organizations ensures the success of these groups and improvements in maternal health.
Maternal Health Task Force
The Maternal Health Task Force is a diverse group of interested parties whose passions surround maternal health. The group created a strategic plan to be implemented based on data and information learned from various communities about what the issues are. The taskforce creates solutions to help improve outcomes during the perinatal period. Currently the task force is funded by the State Maternal Health Innovation Grant from HRSA with the hopes to continue even after the grant ends. Learn more about the Maternal Health Task Force.
