The Maine Immunization Information System (ImmPact) is a statewide system that stores electronic immunization records. ImmPact combines the vaccines a person has received into a single record, even if they were given by different health care providers in the state.
The ImmPact Blood Lead Module
The only approved method of reporting point of care testing results is through the ImmPact Blood Lead Module.
Upon approval for using an In-Office Blood Lead Testing Device, the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program will provide training on how to use the ImmPact Blood Lead Module. You must report all in-office blood lead test results regardless of the blood lead level within 48 hours of the test.
Reports for Health Care Providers
With ImmPact, pediatric health care providers can view patient blood lead test history, run reports that identify patients in need of a blood lead screening test or those in need of a follow-up test, and help you comply with Maine's requirement to test all children at ages 1 and 2 years of age.
