9-11-19 Tr. Fillmyer conducted a routine traffic stop on Burnham Ln. in Hollis for a defective tail light. Cpl. Schmidt and Tr. Handzel helped with the search of the vehicle. Tr. Walton was called for a DRE. After investigation, CHANDLER GARLAND (21 y.o.) was summonsed for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs (29-A 2411), a class D crime and Operating without a License (29-A 1251), a class E crime and Unlawful Possession of a Schedule W Drug (17-A 1107-A), a class C felony.

Tpr. Keim stopped Kyree Council (30) of Lewiston for traveling 102mph in a posted 70mph zone. Council was summonsed for criminal speed.
On 09-13-19 Cpl Cloutier stopped Beth Earley for speeding and erratic operation. Earley was arrested for OUI and transported to the Cumberland Jail. Earley was over the legal limit and was summonsed.
Maine State Police say the two people killed Monday afternoon in a one vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Howland were not wearing seat belts and both were thrown out of the pickup truck. Troopers say the driver likely fell asleep.
State Police say a body, believed to be a woman, was recovered from property in the Town of Norway today. Detectives and Evidence Technicians located the remains buried in the backyard at 239 Harrison Road, as they were conducting a search. The remains have been transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta where an autopsy will begin Wednesday. Investigators say the woman, believed to be in her 80s, likely died in the past 12 to 18 months and she may have lived in a mobile home on the property.

Brief Synopsis: Tr. Plaisted was called to the area of the Lower Detroit Road and Summer Road for a PD Crash. Following an investigation John M. Farmer, 59, of Newport was summonsed for OUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
State Police say a former doctor from Jackman has been re-arrested following indictments handed down last week by the Somerset County Grand Jury. 65 year old Gerald Keenan was arrested Friday by State and Brewer Police at an apartment in Brewer, which he recently had been living.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office, working with the Farmington Police and Fire Departments, has released the names of the victims of today’s explosion in Farmington. Killed was Farmington Fire Captain Michael Bell, who was 68, and a 30 year member of the fire department.
