Important Trail Notice for the Down East Sunrise Trail: Due to the snowfall today and the conditions of the trail underneath the snow, the Down East Sunrise Trail will be closed immediately until after mud season in Spring 2024. Closure signs will be put up today and tomorrow.
November 22, 2023
Important Trail Notice regarding the Rail Trails: The Whistle Stop trail, Four Seasons Adventure trail, Kennebec Valley trail, and Lagrange rail trail are closed for the season effective immediately, 11/22/23. Please obey posted closures in order to prevent further damage to the trails.

Important Trail Notice for Aroostook County: The B & A and AVR rail trails are closed for the season effective immediately. Please obey all closure postings.

Important Trail Notice: The Willimantic trail that provides a connection for riders coming from Dover, Sebec and Brownville on their way to Monson, Abbot, and Greenville will close on 10-02-23 due to landowner harvesting activities. Please make note of this and plan accordingly.

Trail Notice: The Whistle Stop trail from Farmington to Rt 2/4 in Wilton has reopened. From Rt 2/4 in Wilton to Jay is closed indefinitely due to extensive washouts.

Important Trail Notice about the Summerhaven area: Unfortunately due to irresponsible behavior, the Summerhaven Pit Play area and trail system is officially closed. No ATV, or motorcycle use allowed. It is gated off and enforcement will be occurring. Make sure to obey all signs and closures.

Important Trail Reminder: Only ride on approved and open ATV trails, not snowmobile trails. Please drive slow and be courteous or we will lose trail access. Be safe and follow all posted signage.
