Deputy Mejia did a bail check on Joshua while Tr. Nadeau dealt with Brian. Tr. Nadeau ordered Brian out of the pickup and placed him under arrest for OAS. After searching Brian, Tr. Nadeau found one Suboxone strip in his pants pocket that was concealed in a small silver container. Brian stated he had a prescription for the Suboxone but did not have it on him. Brian stated he kept the license plate on the truck after he bought it from the previous owner. Tr. Nadeau saw the inspection sticker was glued onto the windshield and the vin did not match the truck. In the bed of the truck was cutting tools, a car jack and assorted car parts. Tr. Nadeau located a catalytic converter in the bed of the truck and seized it as possible stolen property. Tr. Nadeau later put out a MIAC bulletin on the catalytic converter. Brian and Josh have been charged by various agencies for catalytic converter thefts. The truck was towed and impounded by Lindy’s. Tr.
