Learn how Mother Nature prepares for Winter. Have you ever wondered why leaves change, or what animals do to prepare for a long Maine winter? Team up with Ranger Jen to explore and learn what's really going on in the Maine woods. At 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, and 4 there will be a short story followed by a related craft. If you cant stay, the craft will be available to take home! Between story sessions, Ranger Jen will lead educational and entertaining activities. Fun for all ages, but especially those between ages 4 and 12. Bring a jacket and a water bottle, and enjoy part of your afternoon at vibrant Grafton Notch State Park with us! Meet at the Screw Auger Falls Picnic Shelter at the west end (exit end) of the Screw Auger Falls parking lot on Route 26. Weather Notice: May be canceled due to continuous precipitation or lightning in the area.
