Come enjoy a colorful day at Screw Auger Falls! Pack the kids, bring a picnic lunch, and learn how and why leaves change color. It will be a leisurely day with fun activities and a short hike. You are welcome to come for the whole day or drop in any time between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Meet at the Screw Auger Falls Picnic Shelter at the west end (exit end) of the Screw Auger Falls parking lot on Route 26.

Screw Auger Falls is located on Route 26/Bear River Road. Dress for the weather-wear warm layers and study shoes. Bring: Picnic lunch, water and snacks.

Cost: Free with park admission: $1.00 for ages 5-11, $3.00 for Maine residents ages 12-64, $4.00 for non-residents ages 12-64, $1.00 for non-residents 65 and older; persons under 5 and Maine residents 65 and older are free.
