On 09/21/2020, Cpl. Cote stopped Jacob Robitaille (34) of Leeds on the ME Turnpike northbound in Sabattus.  He was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence.  His BrAC was over the legal limit.

Maine State Police responded to a fatal crash on the I-95 NB 186 off ramp to Stillwater Avenue in Bangor on September 26, at approximately 9:22 a.m. 

Maine State Police responded to a fatal crash on the Chester/Access Road in Chester on Sept. 24, at approximately 8:15 p.m. 

State Police have arrested a 57-year-old Stockton Springs man and charged him in connection with the death of 63-year-old Dorothea Burke in the summer of 1984. Charged with Murder is Kirt Damon who was 20 years old at the time of Dorothea’s death. Damon was taken into custody Tuesday evening at his residence in Stockton Springs and taken to the Waldo County jail. Damon’s first court appearance was Wednesday in Waldo county Superior court. 

The Maine State Police arrest 16 people in Waldo County for various offenses over the course of a week’s-long investigation. Troopers culminated the investigation with the execution of a search warrant in Northport.
