Family Camping
For one Family¹ OR groups of 6 or fewer people. Campground Fees
2023 Season Reservations:
- Lily Bay State Park (NEW for 2023!) AND Sebago Lake State Park – Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 9:00 AM, EST (storm date if Maine State Government is closed – Thursday, February 2, 2023)
- Also on February 1: Group Camping and Picnic Shelter Reservations - call park directly Locations, Reservation Information, and Phone Numbers to call; no online reservations taken.
- All Parks - Monday, February 6, 2023 at 9:00 AM, EST (storm date if Maine State Government is closed – Tuesday, February 7, 2023)
¹A Family = Parents & all their unmarried children age 18 years and younger.
Reminder: The Reservation Call Center no longer mails paper permits to campers who make their camping reservations over the phone. Every phone reservation will receive an emailed confirmation and permit to download and present at the entrance booth when checking in. The occupant's name on the permit must still match the valid ID credential presented at the time of check-in.
Group Camping
For groups of 7 or more people; GROUP RESERVATIONS must be made by contacting each park - see link below.

Backcountry Camping
For those who want to camp off the beaten path.
Off-season and Winter Camping information
For those who are self sufficient and want to test their skills.
- Winter Camping is from December 15 - March 15
Buy It Where You Burn It!
Untreated firewood from outside of Maine has been banned.
- Buy firewood from a local source where you camp.
- Do not transport firewood more than 50 miles, even in Maine.
