*NOTE - Temporary Park Closure Alert: Partial Reopening for 2026 Camping Season - Aroostook and Cobscook State Parks are temporarily closed due to in-process infrastructure improvements. Both parks will reopen for primitive camping and day-use at the start of the 2026 camping season. Drinking water, flush toilets, and showers will not be available. Vault toilets will be available. All park visitors must bring their own drinking water. These park enhancements include the construction of new bathroom facilities and modernized, accessible amenities, as well as underground water and utility upgrades. These investments reflect the Bureau of Parks and Lands’ commitment to providing high-quality recreational spaces while preserving the natural beauty of these popular outdoor destinations.
