WEST GARDINER, Maine - A Portland-area man was a
State Police say they are working with the FBI on a web based threat received against a dozen Maine high schools today. The threat was received by a Maine business which forwarded it to police. In addition State Police have informed all Maine police departments of the threat and the Maine Department of Education has done the same with all Maine school superintendents.
An Orland woman was killed after the vehicle she was a passenger in went off the road last night. The driver is facing multiple charges.
State Police say the man who was shot over the weekend in Gardiner died Tuesday. 22 year old Jordan Johnson was being treated at Maine Medical Center in Portland where he died. Detectives continue to work with the Attorney General’s Office in the investigation and this morning Detectives charged Dylan Ketcham of Gardiner with murder in connection with Johnson’s death. Ketcham is expected to make his first court appearance on the murder charge this afternoon at 3:30 at the Augusta Judicial Center.
On Jan. 27 around 10:14 a.m., Maine State Troopers responded to a crash in Woodland.
A Waterboro woman was arrested by the Maine State
1-15- Tpr. Darcy stopped a vehicle northbound on the turnpike in York. The registration was suspended for tolls. The registered owner was able to call into the turnpike authority and sort out the issue regarding his overdue fines to the turnpike.
Sgt. Pappas summonsed a Livermore Falls resident for trafficking oxycodone after finding him in possession of 36 pills.
