On 12/11/2020, Sgt. Porter took a complaint of an employee at the SB Kennebunk Service Plaza Burger King reporting they received threats from an ex-boyfriend, Ryan P. Desmond (35) of Biddeford. The complainant said Desmond threatened to kill anyone that came to see her, crawl through her window to get into the motel room located behind the service plaza, and stalk her. Desmond was located at his grandmother’s apartment in Biddeford by Sgt. Doughty and Cpl. Physic.

Maine State Police say the missing teen from Hollis was located safely by family members in Deer Pond and his back home. We have removed the post for privacy purposes.

Augusta CrashOn the early morning of Dec. 8, 2020,  at approximately 2:00 a.m., State Police received the report of a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound in the area of mile 113 in Augusta. Kennebec Sheriff’s deputies were in the area and immediately responded as well as State Police Troopers.

    On 12/05/2020, Tr. Welch cited Zachary S. Dewar (29) of Jay with FT Maintain Control of a M/V after sideswiping a Connecticut-based power company truck that was en route to central Maine to assist with power outages from the weekend snowstorm.  The crash occurred at Mile 41 in Scarborough.

    On Nov. 30, 2020,  at approximately 10:51 a.m., Troopers from Troop E responded to the Clifton Store in Clifton for a report of a suspicious vehicle. 

    Upon arrival, troopers made contact with Jessica Sinclair, 34, of Franklin, and Neil Brown, 29, of Mount Vernon. During the course of the investigation, a K9 track was conducted, which led to a nearby residence that had been burglarized.

    Corporal Jesse Duda (Troop G) was awarded the Slaney CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) Officer of the Year today from Hannah Longley, who represents NAMI Maine. The ceremony took place outside of Portland PD today.
