Maine State Police out of Troop C are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this man who is involved in using a stolen credit card. These photos are of the same individual on two separate days using the stolen card at the Dollar General in Kingfield.
On Monday, January 25, 2021, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Maine State Police Troopers from Troop C received a call to check the well-being of an individual on the Hovey Road in New Sharon. Accompanied by a Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy the Trooper responded to the residence. Upon their arrival, they discovered the adult bodies of one male and one female. After conducting the post-mortem examinations on the deceased individuals Tuesday morning, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner identified this as a domestic violence homicide-suicide.

On 01/12/2021, Tr. Vanadestine received an erratic driving complaint on a pickup hauling a U-Haul trailer SB on I-95. Tr. Vanadestine pursued the pickup, eventually ramming the trailer in order to get the vehicle to stop before he killed other motorists in the area. The driver of the pickup, David Stoddard of Topsham, intentionally rammed a Lieutenant from Kittery PD who was in the crossover at MM 4.5, disabling his vehicle and ending the pursuit.
Maine State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Topsfield.
A Topsham man is facing multiple felonies after leading police on a high-speed pursuit from Kennebunk to York.
Maine State Police have learned that two people died in the crash that occurred on Jan. 12, 2021.
