Nordic Aquafarms, Inc.

The Bureau of Parks and Lands is reviewing a Submerged Lands Application submitted by Nordic Aquafarms, Inc. at 282 Northport Avenue (U.S. Route 1) in Belfast for the installation of intake and outfall pipes that would extend seaward of the mean low-water mark on publicly-owned submerged lands, and removal of sub-tidal material from submerged lands. The proposed project would need a submerged lands lease and submerged lands dredging lease. Please see the following “Bureau Notice For Comments” for information regarding the submission of comments on this proposal. This proposal has been modified from the original application submitted in 2018. Subsequent submissions are listed below in reverse chronological order.
