On 12/26/2020, Tr. Vanadestine received a call from Augusta RCC regarding a suicidal male from MA traveling northbound on the Turnpike. Tr. Vanadestine located the male in West Gardiner and transported him to the hospital for an evaluation.

Maine State Police responded to a crash in Jackson that left one man dead over the weekend.

Maine State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Jonesboro on Old Route 1 on Wednesday.
 
On December 23, 2020, at approximately 12:23 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Maine State Police responded to a fatal crash on Old Route 1 in Jonesboro involving a single vehicle and single occupant. The operator of a gray 1989 Mercedes-Benz, Devin Lee, 23 of Milbridge, died as a result of his injuries. Lee was traveling North at the time of the crash.

An arrest has been made after an investigation into a crash that occurred in July of 2020.

The Maine State Police arrested Randall Hamm, 39, of Lagrange this afternoon and charged him with Manslaughter and Aggravated OUI.   State Police say Hamm was the driver in a fatal crash in Lagrange on July 7, 2020, which claimed the life of Desarae Bourgoine, 35, of Lagrange.  Troopers investigating the case say Hamm was operating at reckless speeds with a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit when the crash occurred.

On 12/17/2020, Cpl. Cote responded to the Cumberland Service Plaza on the ME Turnpike after an employee requested assistance removing two customers who were refusing to wear a mask and refusing to leave the facility after being told to do so.  The two were being argumentative and causing a disturbance.  Cpl.

The Maine State Police out of Troop E are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred at 1:10 a.m. on December 16, 2020, shutting down all travel on Route 9 in Clifton.
