  • Troopers Marcus Reny and Eric Paquette laid a wreath at the graveside of Trooper Fred Foster in Lisbon.

  • Lt. Kyle Tilsley and Trooper Pat Flanagan along with Detective Glenn Strange’s wife Kathy and daughter Anna place a wreath at his grave site in south Portland.

Town:                         Fryeburg

Trooper:                     Trp. Knight, Cpl. Casey

Brief Synopsis:          Trp. Knight was parked in Fryeburg when a Fryeburg Officer received an erratic driver complaint. Trp. Knight observed the Fryeburg unit, who had located and was attempting to stop the vehicle, pass by where she was parked. Trp. Knight continued after Fryeburg and soon heard radio traffic over Oxford RCC that the vehicle was not stopping and took off at 90 MPH. The Fryeburg unit requested Trp. Knight take lead in the pursuit. After continuing onto Rt. 113 in Brownfield, the Fryeburg unit backed off from the pursuit. The suspect vehicle was all over the road, fluctuating speeds between 50 and 90 MPH. The vehicle eventually slowed to a speed where Trp. Knight had the opportunity to PIT the vehicle, however she could not execute the PIT maneuver as she is not yet certified. Eventually the vehicle stopped after a 6 mile pursuit. The Fryeburg unit had since resumed pursuing and assisted with the felony stop. Suspected cocaine was found in the vehicle after a search. The operator, Travis Page (32) of NH, was arrested and charged with OP w/o a License and Eluding by Trp. Knight. Fryeburg charged Travis with OUI drug, possession, among various traffic offense charges. The female passenger, Jessica Duplissis (34) of NH, had an active warrant out of NY from parole violation. Trp. Knight arrested Jessica on the warrant and charged her with possession and being a fugitive from justice.

Trooper:                     Tr. Flanagan

Brief Synopsis:         Around 0430 hours, Tr. Flanagan stopped a vehicle for traveling with no lights while on I-295 in South Portland.  The vehicle pulled off Exit 3 in South Portland and while coming to a stop, the front passenger opened the door and fled the scene on foot. Tr. Flanagan detained the operator and ultimately had probable cause search the vehicle.  The search yielded multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia along with roughly 3 grams of cocaine and $3,640 in cash.  The operator was released from the scene with a summons for traveling without lights.  An arrest warrant for Possession Schedule W (Class C) will be issued for the passenger who has since been identified.

Brief Synopsis:         Tr. James received a traffic complaint of a pick-up truck driving north “all over the road” at mile 17 on I295 in Freeport. While trying to set up to locate the truck, Tr. James received another call that the truck went off the road into the median near exit 20. Eric NDAYIZI (47 of Gardiner) presented with multiple indications he had been drinking. Given the weather and the location of where NDAYIZI went off the road field sobriety was not conducted. NDAYIZI was taken to Freeport PD where an Intoxilyzer test was given. He was charged with OUI – Alcohol.

Trooper:                     CPL. HINK, Cpl. casey, TR. Wing, Tr. Nadeau, Sgt. Bureau

Brief Synopsis:         Troopers from Troop B assisted Cumberland County SO with a disturbance in Standish where a deputy was assaulted while investigating an assault at the residence before the male offender fled into the woods.  Eventually that male was apprehended by a Cumberland County K9 Team.  After a perimeter was established at the residence believing another male was inside with felony warrants, the male exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.

Brief Synopsis:         Cpl. Hink and Tr. Knight assisted local fire departments with a Christmas lights parade in Porter and South Hiram.  Troopers conducted traffic control while the parade of decorated fire apparatus and other vehicles went from Main Street in Porter to the Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds in Hiram.  Fire Inv. Tabor also assisted.

Brief Synopsis:         Tr. Watson stopped a vehicle on the Canton Rd in Livermore with vehicle defects. The operator was determined to be suspended. He was charged accordingly.

Trooper:                     Tr. Knight

Brief Synopsis:         Tr. Knight was stationary at the intersection of Rt. 85 and Rt. 11 in the town of Casco. Tr. Knight ran a routine registration query and driver query of the RO whose license was suspended for failing to file a medical report. Trp. Knight conducted a stop and the operator was confirmed to be the RO and was summonsed for OAS.

Brief Synopsis:         Tr. Knight was stationary in the town of Norway and ran a routine reg. and driver query of the RO. After conducting a stop, the RO was confirmed to be the operator who was suspended for failing to file a medical report. The operator was charged with OAS.

Brief Synopsis:         Tr. Watson stopped a vehicle on Rt 219 in Leeds with vehicle defects. The vehicle was determined to have false attached plates. The operator was charged accordingly.
