On Monday, August 6, 2021 at 12:15 p.m. a Maine State Police Trooper attempted to stop a black 2016 Chevy Camaro on Interstate 95 at mile marker 149 southbound in Pittsfield for speeding, aggressive driving and false attachment of registration plates.

On 08/25/2021, Lt. Baker stopped James R. Coffee of Staten Island, NY for 102 MPH in Auburn.  He was charged accordingly.

On 08/16/2021, Cpl. Cloutier checked on an unattended motor vehicle near the New Gloucester tolls that was stolen out of Biddeford. Biddeford PD did not want to process the MV. The RO was contacted and made arrangements to remove it from the Turnpike.

The missing teen has been located safely. We are removing her photos and personal information for the sake of privacy.

On Aug. 18, 2021, at approximately 6:50 a.m., Troopers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash off the road on Rt. 202 in Lebanon.  Troopers learned that the vehicle was operated by 22-year-old Nathan Celley of Springvale, who was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash.  Mr. Celley did not survive the crash and speed was likely the cause of the crash. Maine State Police extend their condolences to family and friends of Mt. Celley during this difficult time.
