Incident Type:        

Major Crimes Unit - North Detective Greg Roy was recently promoted to Sergeant in the Specialty Teams Unit as the Tactical Team Commander.  Det. Roy is a 13-year veteran who began service in Troop J before being promoted to Detective in 2015.

On 07/31/2022, Cpl. Sucy made contact with Nicole Brough (21) of Oxford and charged her with Misuse of Identification and Operating Without a License. This stemmed from a traffic stop on June 8th when Brough used her sister’s license as her own. Brough admitted to the crime once approached.

UPDATE: Geraldo Mbacu has been safely located.

On 07/26/2022, Cpl. Cote stopped Shane Pero (43) of Springvale on the ME Turnpike northbound in Saco.  His ME Driver’s License was found to be suspended.  He was charged with Operating after Suspension and Possession of a Suspended License.  His vehicle was towed away.
