For Central Maine Power, Versant Power-Bangor Hydro District, and Versant Power-Maine Public District Residential and Small Non-Residential Class Starting on January 1, 2027
On May 26, 2026 and July 2, 2026, the Commission issued RFPs for up to 50% of the Residential and Small Non-Residential (“small class”) loads in CMP and Versant – BHD territories, and Versant – MPD territory, respectively. On July 21, 2026, the Commission awarded 20% of the Versant – BHD small class load. On July 22, 2026, the Commission awarded 20% of the CMP and 40% of the Versant – MPD small class loads.
On September 15, 2026, the Commission issued RFPs for the remainder of the small class loads, in addition to the full loads for Medium C&I and Large C&I customers in CMP, Versant – BHD, and Versant – MPD territories.
Indicative bids in response to the September 15, 2026 RFPs are due October 9, 2026.
Dates for final bids in response to the September 15, 2026 RFPs have not yet been established.
Bids must be submitted by 10 AM EST each day.
