  • Troop G Weekly Report - 09/05/2022 - 09/11/2022

    On 09/05/2022, Tr. Ellis stopped Belal Faizy (32) of South Portland for a registration violation on the ME turnpike northbound in Kennebunk. His plates were found to be falsely attached. The vehicle was towed.

    On 09/08/2022, Tr. Anstett responded to the Gorham Road Turnpike overpass for a crash reconstruction mapping. Charges are currently pending and the investigation is ongoing.

    On 09/09/2022, Cpl. Cote stopped Niels Doughty (30) of Yarmouth on the ME Turnpike southbound in Saco.  His ME driver’s license was found to be suspended.  He was charged with Operating after Suspension and Possession of a Suspended License.  His vehicle was towed away.

    On 09/10/2022, Tr. Ellis responded to Wells to assist with a commercial motor vehicle related incident. The driver, Juan Vargas Quiceno (30) of New York, was placed out of service for having no record of duty status. Additionally, he lacked a medical card, periodic inspection, and was carrying an unauthorized passenger. The vehicle was towed. Charges are pending with Wells PD.

    On 09/10/2022, Cpl. Cote stopped Mackenzie Morel (28) of Guilford on the ME Turnpike northbound in Saco.  Her ME driver’s license was found to be revoked.  She was charged with Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation and Possession of a Revoked License.  Her vehicle was towed away.

    On 09/11/2022, Cpl. Cote stopped Michael Hall (53) of St. Albans on the ME Turnpike northbound in Scarborough.  His ME driver’s license was found to be suspended.  He was charged with Operating after Suspension and Possession of a Suspended License.  His vehicle was towed away. 

    On 09/11/2022, Tr. Ellis stopped Joel Rodriquez (35) of New Jersey for criminal speeding 103/70 on the ME turnpike northbound in Saco. He was summonsed for the speed.

  • Silver Alert Susan Hayes

    Silver Alert

    UPDATE: Susan Hayes of Kittery has been safely located.

    The Kittery Police Department is issuing a Silver Alert for 70-year-old of Susan Hayes of Kittery. Hayes was last seen at her home on Picott Rd in Kittery on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at approximately 12:00 am. When her husband woke this morning at 5:30 am Susan was not home. She is believed to have wandered away on foot, her destination is unknown. Hayes, who suffers from some cognitive issues is a white female , 5’2”, 115 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. Susan was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue hat and ankle boots. If you have any information or see Susan Hayes please check well-being and call the Kittery Police Department at 207.439.1638.

  • Maine State Police investigating child’s death in Naples

    On Saturday, September 17, 2022 at  approximately 1:06 pm the Cumberland Country Regional Communications Center received a 911 call from the area of Lambs Mills Road in Naples. Shortly after the call the Naples Fire Department reported there was an unresponsive 2-year-old child at their station. Cumberland County Deputies responded and learned the child, a male, was struck in the driveway of a residence on Lambs Mills Road. Life saving measures at the fire department were unable to revive the boy and the child was pronounced deceased. Due to the age of the child, the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit responded. The investigation revealed the father of the child was moving a pickup truck and camper trailer and unable to see the child when the child was struck.  The parents immediately grabbed the child and transported him to the Naples Fire Department. At this time names of all involved are being withheld pending notification of additional family members. 

    This was a difficult scene for all involved. We urge the media to respect the privacy of the family at this time. 

  • Troop G Weekly Report - 09/12/2022 - 09/18/2022

    On 09/12/2022, Cpl. Cropper stopped a vehicle for speeding northbound in Kennebunk. The 23-year-old female operator from Boston, MA was suspended in Maine for failure to pay fines. She was summonsed for the speeding and OAS-Civil. The male passenger was positively identified as EARL S. GUERRA (33) of Boston, MA. GUERRA was out on bail for DV assault. The protected person was the female operator. The vehicle was towed and the female was dropped off at the NB Kennebunk Plaza. GUERRA was arrested for VCR and transported to YCJ.

    On 09/14/2022, Troopers responded to a crash at mile marker 14 NB in Ogunquit. The investigation determined the operator of a pickup truck was driving northbound on the Turnpike when he fell asleep and swerved into the middle lane, swiping a tractor-trailer. The crash caused the pickup truck to roll over several times. The passenger in the pickup truck was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The passenger suffered serious injuries and was transported to a Portsmouth, NH hospital. The drivers of the pickup and the tractor-trailer were not injured. At the time of the crash, the pickup truck was transporting 10 dogs in a steel cage in the back of the truck. One dog was found deceased at the scene and eight dogs were recovered. Of the recovered dogs one was taken to a local veterinarian.

    On 09/17/2022, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Maine State Police received two calls from drivers claiming they had seen what appeared to be Whiskey, the lone missing hunting dog from a recent crash, around mile 11 northbound on I-95 in the town of York.  Tr. Williams began searching the area, lighting up the woodline as much as possible using cruiser lights and a flashlight.  Tr. Williams eventually noticed a couple eyes shining back at him from the woods and found it worthy of investigation.  Tr. Williams stopped his cruiser and was able to see Whiskey’s head through the tall grass.  Whiskey began howling back at Tr. Williams.  Whiskey was weak and shaking, but otherwise appeared to be uninjured.  Tr. Williams walked Whiskey back to the cruiser where he was fed and watered.  Whiskey was turned over to the Ogunquit Police and Animal Control Officer where he will be cared for until reunification with his owner. 

    On 09/15/2022, Cpl. Ricci Cote stopped Michael Dickson (43) of Woolwich on the ME Turnpike northbound in Gray.  His ME driver’s license was found to be suspended.  He was charged with Operating after Suspension and Possession of a Suspended License.  His vehicle was towed away.

    On 09/15/2022, Tr. Ellis responded to the Falmouth area on I-295 to assist Troop B with a median rollover crash. One of the occupants was seriously injured and the highway was temporarily closed as a result of the crash.

    On 09/16/2022, Tr. Bourdelais responded to a motor vehicle crash on the turnpike near mile marker 60 in Gray. It appeared the vehicle made contact with the guardrail causing major front end damage resulting in the vehicle being towed. The operator was identified as John Kearney. Upon further investigation, Kearney appeared to be under the influence.  He refused field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly.

    On 09/17/2022, Tr. Bourdelais represented the Maine State Police Honor Guard at the Big E in Massachusetts in support of the Agriculture Department for Maine Day. Other Maine agencies participated in the event to include the Forest Rangers and Game Wardens.

       

     

    On 09/17/2022, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Troopers Burke and Williams and Cpl. Cropper responded to a motor vehicle crash southbound on I-95 in the town of Wells.  Upon arrival Tr. Burke secured the scene and provided first aid to the occupants.  An investigation revealed the vehicle had left the roadway due to an unknown cause and crashed into a tree, totaling the vehicle.  The 65-year-old male driver sustained significant but non-life threatening injuries to his head and back.  The passenger, a 65-year-old female, suffered a possible injury to her back.  Both occupants were transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for treatment. 

    On 09/17/2022, Tr. Anstett responded to Naples for a pedestrian fatal crash involving a two-year-old child. Tr. Anstett assisted CCSO and MCU with drone mapping of the crash scene.

    On 09/17/2022, Cpl. Physic summonsed Jordan Oden for OAS and Criminal Speed.

    On 09/17/2022, Cpl. Sucy pulled a passenger car over for speed in Gray. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver, Demetric Johnson (39) of Alabama, was operating without a license. Johnson was charged for operating without a license and the vehicle was towed.

    On 09/17/2022, Cpl. Sucy pulled over a passenger van for speed. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver of the vehicle, Eric Kibonge (38) of Lewiston, had a suspended license. Kibonge was charged with OAS and released from the scene.

    On 09/18/2022, Cpl. Sucy pulled over an SUV for speed. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver, Peter Robinson (27) of E. Machias, was found to have a suspended license.  Robinson was charged with OAS and released from the scene.

    On 09/18/2022, Cpl. Physic arrested Elena Poulin for OUI.  Elena took an intoxilyzer test and blew over the legal limit. Tpr. Foley assisted.

    On 09/18/2022, Cpl. Sucy pulled over a sedan for speed. The driver, an 18-year-old male from Lewiston, was found to be operating the vehicle without a license. He recently moved to Maine from Brazil and there was a language barrier. The male was under the impression his ID card was a driver’s license. He was educated on getting a driver’s license. The vehicle was towed from the scene, but the operator was not charged with any crimes.

  • Troop F Weekly Report 09-12 to 09-18-22

    Trooper:                   TR. DESROSIER

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Desrosier was conducting traffic enforcement in Frenchville when he noticed an ATV driving in the middle of the roadway.  He recognized the driver and when the ATV operator saw Tr. Desrosier, he turned down a field road and disappeared.  Tr. Desrosier and two local Game Wardens tried to locate the ATV but were unsuccessful.  On 9/18/2022, Tr. Desrosier located the man and issued him a criminal summons for Operating After Revocation and for Violating his Conditions of Release.  The man signed both summonses without incident.

    Brief Synopsis:       On 09/14/2022 Tr. Roy began investigating the theft of a golf cart from a campground in Limestone.  A witness found the golf cart at a home in Limestone.  The golf cart was painted, altered, and destroyed as a means of changing its appearance. Through interviews, Tr. Roy learned that a Limestone man lied about owning the golf cart to his accomplice, a Fort Fairfield man.  The Limestone male asked the Fort Fairfield man to take the golf cart from the victim’s camp and drive it to where it was recovered. The Limestone man instructed his accomplice to spray paint the golf cart after they stole it.  The Fort Fairfield male ultimately painted and destroyed the golf cart.  Both males had several prior criminal convictions for thefts related charges, which aggravated the charges in this case.  The Fort Fairfield male was also out on bail and violated his bail conditions by committing another crime. Tr, Roy summonsed and charged the Fort Fairfield male with felony Theft by Unauthorized Use, Criminal Mischief, and Violation of his Conditions of Release.  Tr. Roy arrested the Limestone male on charges of Criminal Conspiracy, felony Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, and Falsification of Evidence.  Both men are scheduled to appear in Caribou District Court in December.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Roy was driving through Washburn and was following a vehicle driving below the posted speed limit.  Tr. Roy requested a registration query and then a license query on the registered owner which revealed the owner had a suspended driver’s license.  Tr. Roy stopped the vehicle and after an investigation issued the driver a criminal summons for OAS.  The man admitted to knowing his license was suspended and arranged for a licensed driver to come get him and the vehicle.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Roy was driving through a parking lot in Mars Hill and noticed a truck that had an expired registration.  Tr. Roy waited for the driver of the truck to come out of the store.  He observed a man drive the truck through the parking lot and stop at the local gas station.  While conducting an unrelated traffic stop, Tr. Roy observed the truck he was watching leave the gas station and appeared to be taking side streets to avoid him.  Tr. Roy tried to stop the truck, but it pulled into a private driveway.  The driver refused to identify himself at first but later gave his name and date of birth.  Tr. Roy conducted a computer query and discovered the man had a suspended driver’s license.  The man was arrested for OAS and brought to Presque Isle PD where he posted bail.  He was also issued a traffic summons for the expired registration.

    Brief Synopsis:       While investigating a sperate incident, Tr. Rider was speaking with a man and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest due to a sex offender registry violation.  The man admitted to knowing about the warrant.  He was arrested without incident and transported to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton.

    Trooper:                   TR. CASTONGUAY

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Castonguay was conducting traffic enforcement in Oakfield when he observed a vehicle with blue colored headlights and illegal window tint.  After conducting a traffic stop and investigation, it was found the driver did not have a driver’s license.  The man was issued a criminal summons for operating without a license.  He was issued several warnings for multiple traffic offenses.  The passenger in the vehicle had a valid license and agreed to drive the vehicle.

    Brief Synopsis:       CPL. Kilcollins and Tr. Martin attended a weeklong ERT class in Bangor. The class was about how to use the newly upgraded camera systems the team has received.

    Brief Synopsis:       A worker from Maine DOT found a purse on the side of Route 1 in Littleton. The DOT worker advised they looked in the purse to see if they could find the owner. The DOT worker advised according to the license in the wallet the purse was not far from the owner’s house. The DOT worker advised they tried to contact the female but were not able to. Later the night Tr. Barnard went to the address and contacted the female. The purse was given back to its rightful owner.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant received a call reference to a stolen motor vehicle in Limestone.  The caller advised the vehicle had been taken some time in the last week.  The caller was in the process of restoring the pickup truck and had found a buyer.  When he went to where the vehicle was being stored, it was gone.  The investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       US Border Patrol was doing an immigration checkpoint on Interstate 95 in Sherman when they came in contact with an operator who was under suspension and had falsely attached license plates.  Tr. Saucier responded to the checkpoint and issued the Oakfield man a summons for OAS as well as Illegal Attachment of Plates.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Saucier responded to the USBP checkpoint after a woman almost struck one of the agents as she was approaching the area.  The woman was acting irrationally during their investigation.  Tr. Saucier conducted field sobriety tests on the woman which she failed.  She was placed under arrest on two warrants and transported to East Millinocket PD.  As a result of Tr. Saucier’s investigation, the Houlton woman was also charged with OUI Drugs.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant responded to a vacant Hamlin residence after a neighbor called to report he believed someone was inside.  Cpl. Casavant checked, and nobody was still inside.  However, it appeared there were at least two suspects that had been inside and were in the process of cutting copper when the neighbor had pulled into the driveway and checked the exterior of the house with a flashlight.  After the neighbor left, it is believed the suspects fled the home.  Physical evidence was collected at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Saucier received a call direct from a restaurant in Oakfield advising a male subject was harassing customers inside.  Tr. Saucier responded and issued the Stacyville man a Criminal Trespass notice not to return to the establishment.  The man has been issued trespass warnings for multiple businesses due to his behavior.

  • Northern Field Troop Weekly Report for 9/11/2022 to 9/17/2022

    On 9/14/2022, Tr. Haverly-Johndro stopped a vehicle for 107 MPH in a 70 MPH zone on I-95 in Carmel.  Tr. Haverly-Johndro identified the operator as Ali Alimurshidy (44 years old of Biddeford).  Tr. Haverly-Johndro charged Ali with criminal speed. 
     
    On 9/15/2022,  Cpl. Dube was traveling on I95 in Bangor when a red BMW passenger car bearing a PA license plate passed at a high rate of speed.  Radar showed 92 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.  Tr. Dube conducted a traffic stop and the operator was identified as Dylan Gamber 20 YOA of PA.  Gamber was summonsed for criminal speed.
     
    On 9/16/2022, Cpl. Dube conducted a traffic stop on a Gray Ford pickup bearing for speed in Bangor. Radar showed the vehicle was traveling 95 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.  The operator of the vehicle was identified as River Morris Rossignol, 21 YOA of Waterville. Rossignol was issued a summons for Criminal Speed.   
     
    On 9/17/2022, Cpl. Dube was traveling southbound on I95 near Newport when a gray sedan passed him at a high rate of speed.  Radar showed the vehicle was traveling 106 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone.  Cpl. Dube conducted a traffic stop and the driver was identified as Todd Carter, 37 YOA of Georgia.  Carter was issued a summons for criminal speed and released.   
     
    On 9/16/2022, Troopers responded to 39 Marston Meadow Road in Glenburn for the report of a family fight. As a result of the investigation, Kyle Thompson 36 YOA of Glenburn, was arrested the next day on 9/17/2022. 
     
    On 9/11/2022, Tr. Gould and Tr. Nelson responded to an assault in Glenburn. As a result of the investigation, Destiny Twitchell, 34, of Glenburn, was arrested and charged with DV assault. 
      
    On 9/14/2022, Tr. Gould stopped a vehicle on I-95 southbound in Hermon for an expired inspection sticker.  Maddi Mayo (28) of Winterport was identified as the operator.  The vehicles suspension showed suspended status for toll violations.  Mayo was summonsed for Operating w/ Suspended Registration, class E. 
     
    On 9/14/2022, Tr. Ramp was dispatched to an alleged burglary complaint.  The complainant stated he had just been brought home from the hospital found his house had been burglarized.  The complainant stated Frederick Gilbert, 57 of Bangor had brought him home and has been staying at his house helping him out.  As a result of the investigation Tr. Ramp learned that Gilbert had sold rings to Maritime International which belonged to the Complainant.  Tr. Ramp arrested Gilbert and charged him with theft, violating conditions of release, and false public alarm or report.  Gilbert was transported to the Penobscot County Jail. 
     
    On 9/14/2022, Tr. Ramp was dispatched to 354 Darling Rd. in Hudson for a bail violation.  The complainant reported that her husband Christopher Hoxie, 55 of Hudson, was at their residence, which violated his bail conditions.  Christopher was gone when Tr. Ramp arrived on scene.  Tr. Ramp was able to speak with Christopher via phone and Christopher was summonsed the next day for violating conditions of release.
     
     
    On 9/11/2022, Tr. Mahon responded to a report of a vehicle theft in Amherst.  The vehicle, a gray 2005 BMW X5, did not run and did not have plates on the vehicle.  It was last seen on September 7th.  Unknown suspects or direction of travel.
     
    On 9/12/2022, Cpl. Jeff Taylor responded to a crash on the Tibbettstown Road in Columbia Falls where a vehicle drove into a telephone pole.  As a result of the investigation Michael Dewitt, 28 of Jonesport, was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs and violation of conditional release.  Sgt. Jeff Ingemi and Washington SO assisted with the investigation. 
     
    On 9/13/2022, Tr. Keith York responded to a traffic complaint in Crawford where a vehicle was reported to have erratic operation.  As a result of the investigation Amanda St. Peter, 41 of Portland, was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol. 
     
    On 9/14/2022, Cpl. Jeff Taylor responded to a family fight complaint in Milbridge.  As a result of the investigation Dennis Rathbun, 24 of Columbia Falls, was arrested for domestic violence assault.  Washington SO assisted. 
     
    On 9/14/2022, Tr. Mahon responded to a boat theft in Sullivan where it was reported that a 12-foot, 2007 Smoker Craft boat was stolen from where it was moored on the lake.  It is possible that the high winds may have caused the boat to drift to another location.  The Maine Warden service was notified.  The following day the boat was found returned to where it was missing.  
     
    On 9/17/2022, Sgt. Jeff Ingemi responded to Calais for a report of a hit and run crash that had occurred during the night.  As a result of the investigation Jonathan King, 35 of Calais was summonsed for leaving the scene of a property damage crash. 
     
    On 9/17/2022, Cpl. Jeff Taylor responded to a crash in Beals Island where it was reported that Luke Smith, 37 of Jonesport, went through a stop sign and over the embankment onto the clam flats.  As a result of the investigation Smith was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol and summonsed for operating after suspension.  Tr. Jarid Leonard assisted.  
     
    On 9/15/2022, Sgt. Daniel Ryan arrested Tyler Tibbetts (29) Harrington on route 1, Ellsworth after a traffic stop for OAS, warrant and violation of condition of release. 
     
    On 9/16/2022, Tr. Jarid Leonard and Tr. Matthew Rose observed a side by side operating at a high rate of speed on the roadways in Calais. The side by side failed to stop when directed and as a result the operator refused to submit to arrest or detention The operator was identified as Raymond Korasadowicz (37) of Calais, and he was charged with refusing to submit to arrest and detention and OUI. He was arrested and booked into the Washington county Jail.
     
     

  • Col. John Cote to Retire

    Col John CoteColonel John Cote has announced his retirement effective September 30, 2022 after 33 years of service with the Maine State Police.  Colonel Cote and his command staff team have lead the agency through some of the agency’s most high profile incidents and during trying times for the law enforcement profession.

    Colonel Cote has accepted a position with Bison Transportation USA as their Eastern Region Director of Safety with Hartt Transportation Systems. 

    “It has been an honor and privilege to serve as a Maine Trooper for over three decades.  I have worked with many outstanding people who will continue to make the Maine State Police a premiere agency dedicated to keeping Maine a safe place to live and visit.”  
     

  • Road Rage Incident in Alfred

    Maine State Police are looking into an assault and possible road rage incident that occurred at the intersection of Biddeford and Sanford Road in Alfred.
     
    One of the involved vehicles, a black SUV, had a man and woman who got out and punched the driver of a white Dodge Ram in the face several times before spraying him with Mace. They then left, continuing on Route 202 near the intersection heading toward Sanford. The man is described as 
    approximately 5'10" dirty blonde hair around 170 lbs. with a scruffy beard. The female was short and skinny with large glasses, and blonde hair. Both estimated by the victim to be around 30 years old. Attached are images from Harry’s in Sanford of an SUV that came up in the investigation.   • SILVER ALERT  Claude Lamothe

    The Maine State Police has issued a Silver Alert for 83-year old Claude Lamothe of Connor Township. Lamothe was last seen Saturday, September 24, 2022 at approximately 3:30 pm leaving Daigle Oil in Caribou. Lamothe who suffers from cognitive issues may be headed to the Augusta area. Lamothe is a white male, 5’ 11”, 200 lbs. with white hair and brown eyes. He is driving a white GMC 1500, Maine license plate 8749YN. If located please call 1-800-924-2261 OR 207-532-5400. 
     

  • Troop F Weekly Report 09-18 to 09-25-22

    Trooper:                   TR. RIDER

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Rider was conducting traffic enforcement in the town of Oakfield.  Tr. Rider made a traffic stop on a vehicle and learned that the operator’s license was currently under suspension.  Tr. Rider also learned that the vehicle’s plates were not issued to that vehicle.  Tr. Rider issued the operator a summons for operating after revocation and attaching false plates.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Desrosier was traveling through Caribou when he observed a vehicle with a inoperable headlight and  also speeding.  Tr. Desrosier conducted a traffic stop and learned that the operator’s license was currently under suspension.  Tr. Desrosier issued the operator a summons for OAS.  The operator had a licensed driver come and drive the vehicle from the scene.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Kilcollins responded to a report of a theft in Mapleton. A male had called in reporting that another male was found stealing gas and other parts of his deceased father’s plow truck. Cpl. Kilcollins  located the male, and he was summonsed for theft, operating after revocation, and two counts of violation of conditional release.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Martin and Cpl. Kilcollins responded to a suspicious incident in Limestone. A woman who cleans the Limestone Public Library called reference to believing someone had broken into the building. The female noticed that the door handle was in the open positions. The female said there has been a series of strange incidents happening at the building. The female advised that last week she went in the building and there was blood all over the downstairs. Tr. Martin and Cpl. Kilcollins entered the building and did not find anyone inside. However, they did find that someone had defecated and made a mess in a toilet (unknown if this is related to this incident). At this time, it is believed that someone may be breaking into the library after hours. The female was advised we would try and do more patrols around the building.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant received a theft complaint from a residence in Woodland.  The caller advised she was staying in Presque Isle but had received a message that two people had been at her house the day before taking items.  The investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant received a SOR Violation referral from the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department.  A 36-year-old man was not up to date with his forms that needed to be filled out.  The suspect had been arrested and PR bailed in August for the same violation but had never reached out to the SOR.  Cpl. Casavant went to the address on the suspect’s bail and was advised he had not lived there for 15 years.  It appears the man is a transient and has lived in different parts of the state. The investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton stopped a vehicle for not having an inspection sticker in Houlton.  As a result of the stop, Tr. Cotton charged the operator with OAS.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant received a complaint from a residence in Caswell advising someone had entered their home and stolen food as well as tools.  The caller advised they had left for the evening to visit a relative in the hospital and their teenage son stayed home.  Their neighbor came into the house while their son was there and took food from their freezer.  The caller also reported tools missing but was unsure if the same person was responsible.  The investigation is ongoing.
