The Career & Technical Education Committee of the Maine State Board of Education is charged with overseeing the Board's administration of federal funds awarded to Maine under the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act. The Committee is also involved with the State Plan for Career and Technical Education, which is prepared by the Commissioner of Education and approved by the State Board of Education.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Room 538 of the Cross State Office Building in Augusta. The committee generally meets the fourth Thursday of each month.
