Career and technical education (CTE) is governed by State and federal regulations. The federal compliance office is the Office of Vocational and Adult Education. The State Board of Education is the state governing board.

Methods of Administration (MOA)
The Department conducts CTE site visits as part of its Vocational Education MOA civil rights compliance of districts that receive federal funding.
