*ATTENTION*

To clear up known system errors currently present in the Connect system, Connect will be unavailable on Friday, May 8, 2026 all day for a data refresh. Access to the system will be restored on Monday, May 11, 2026 for any SAU that would like to continue testing and/or exploring the system. This refresh will not interrupt any current 2025-2026 data reporting preparation for end of year, all 2025-2026 student data is required to be reported through the State Synergy system. 

Data Team Summer Trainings – The in-person summer trainings in 2026 will serve as workshops to explore Connect. The Data Team will walk through navigation, uploading, and other features within Connect for participants. Register Here. Dates and general locations are as follows:  

• July 28 – Presque Isle 

• July 29 – Old Town 

• July 30 – Harrington 

• August 11 – Waterville 

• August 12 – Lewiston 

• August 13 – Buxton

Graduation Reporting will be opening 6/1 this year due to Synergy closing 6/30/26. We are asking all districts to complete Graduation Reporting as soon as possible this year. Notices about this will be going out 4/1 and 5/1 with weekly notices through June.
DO NOT enter exits for students that will be completing graduation requirements over the summer as we will be taking those exits to update the reporting via MEDMS emails. More info on that will be sent to districts as we approach June.

Data systems training can be initiated for new employees or anyone who would like a refresher on our systems. This training is one-on-one with our Education Data Quality Trainer, AlLee Cookson.
