Paramedic IC Webinar for teaching EMT Expanded Scope Courses 12/2

Maine EMS has done 3 instructor sessions (APEMS virtual seminar) so far. An additional session is being scheduled for next week, Thursday Dec 2, at 6:30 pm. This is a one-hour session. You must be a paramedic level IC to coordinate and teach these sessions. If you wish to teach the skills sessions, you must attend one of these sessions. If you are unable to make this session, I am willing to schedule another and will welcome feedback regarding dates/times which are convenient to all.

To aid in the offering of these classes, Maine EMS has developed a PowerPoint resource for instructors to use.  The PPT didactic resource for the nebulizer training has been posted on the Maine EMS website, at the link below. CPAP and 12-Lead Acquisition will follow as they are developed. Instructors may also develop their own didactic education and then submit for approval from a regional office or training center. In addition, instructor resources for practical skills training sessions have also been posted, and include both lab sheets (lesson plan) and skills practice and evaluation sheets for each of the three skills (CPAP, nebulizers, 12-lead ECG acquisition).
