We apologize for the challenges faced with today's emergency EMS Board meeting. We understand the frustration that is being felt by many regarding the technological difficulties experienced today. At this time, we are receiving many emails regarding today’s scheduled Emergency Board Meeting. Before this meeting, we confirmed with the Office of Information Technology that we had availability for 500 members of the public; however, when we attempted to conduct the meeting today, it was capped at 200 participants. Maine’s Open Meetings Laws prevent any business from being conducted without public access except in very limited scenarios (executive session, etc.). As a result, the meeting was canceled today and has been rescheduled to 09:00 on Monday, August 23, 2021. We have looped in executive leadership and will have further confirmation regarding our Zoom account prior to sending out the link. The link and login information will be posted on our website as soon as possible.
