2025 Maine EMS Protocol Updates

Maine EMS and the Maine EMS Medical Direction and Practices Board are sharing the schedule for the December 1, 2025, protocol changes. After two years of review and input, the new protocols will provide an updated set of guidelines and evidence-based care.

ALL Maine EMS licensed clinicians must complete the protocol update before responding to EMS calls on or after December 1, 2025. CEH credit will be awarded.

The updates can be completed in one of two ways:

1. Attend one of the live virtual webinars. (You must pre-register; there is no cost).  The schedule and registration links are below.

2. Complete the update on MEMSEd 24/7 by logging into your MEMSEd account. This will be available in the next few weeks.

You do NOT need to do both (but are welcome to!).  The schedule for live webinars and registration links are below and can also be found in the clinical bulletin below.  Clinicians only need to attend one session.
