Maine EMS was just notified of the following highway work in Yarmouth on I295:
Highway crews will be conducting night work on I-295 starting Wednesday night, July 19th.
Work will be occurring on I-295 South Bound (SB) near Exit 17 from approximately 8 PM to 6 AM.
From 9 PM to 5 AM, all I-295 SB lanes of traffic will be shut down and traffic will be detoured.
During these times, all traffic will exit I-295 SB at the exit 17 off-ramp and traffic will cross US Rt.1 and re-enter I-295 on the on-ramp for 5 to 10 nights per ramp location.
Flaggers will be present at the I-295 Exit 17 SB off-ramp and also at Rt. 1 where the off-ramp ends to safely direct traffic.
