Pediatric Case Review August 31 from 7 to 830pm

This is the rescheduled class and hope you can join us!

The Maine EMS for Children program will host a virtual case review on pediatrics and EMS.

On August 31, 2022, from 7 to 830pm, Dr. Allison Zanno, a member of the Maine EMS-C Advisory Committee, will lead a discussion of several cases from EMS calls in Maine.  These cases will focus on field deliveries of newborn patients and postpartum care, which can be some of the most rewarding AND challenging patients we encounter.

There is no cost, and CEH will be issued. Pre-registration is required. The case review will be conducted via Zoom to allow statewide access and minimize travel costs.

Allison Zanno, MD is a board-certified neonatologist at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center and Maine Neonatology Associates. She is currently the Director of Neonatal Simulation at Maine Medical Center, as well as a leader in a number of committees throughout the NICU. She received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her Pediatrics residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she served as chief fellow and then attending physician.
