EMS Board meeting for August 3 is in person ONLY

The Maine EMS Board is scheduled to meet next on August 3, 2022, at 09:30. In consultation with our strategic planning consultants, the Board Chair has decided that this meeting will be almost entirely dedicated to the strategic planning process and work related to that end.

As a result, this notice is that the meeting will be held in-person ONLY without a virtual option. The reasoning for this is that the consultant plans on breaking the Board up into workgroups. Doing so will make broadcasting the happenings of each group nearly impossible. For members of the public and interested parties, the meeting will remain open and available for those to attend in person as part of the gallery.

The meeting will be held at 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta, Maine 04330. Please note that this WILL be an ALL-DAY meeting (9:30 until 16:00). The first 30 minutes of the Board meeting will be dedicated to time-sensitive business (i.e., investigations). Then it will promptly transition to strategic planning work with the SafeTech consultant(s).

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions, comments, or concerns.
