Maine EMS and the MDPB have released a clinical bulletin addressing the current state and nationwide shortages of various IV fluids and electrolyte solutions of various sizes.
The bulletin contains information about:
- The status of the fluid shortages
- Recommended conservation measures for providers
- Recommendations regarding discarding of expired supplies
