Do you hold an NREMT certification? Yours may be due to renew on March 31, 2022 - make sure you check! There is NO extension for NREMT.
Although NREMT is required for new licensure in Maine (and Maine requires you to have a Maine license to provide EMS care in Maine), we currently do not require Maine licensed EMS providers to maintain NREMT. But we strongly recommend it! You can renew your Maine license from your NREMT credits/certification, and it provides you with professional credibility, as well improved ease if you need to become licensed in another state.
The NREMT has waived all distributive education requirements for 2022, so you can use recorded CEHs (like MEMSEd) for any of your continuing education hours.
