Due to special request, Maine EMS will be conducting an IC orientation webinar for teaching the EMT SOP Expansion Skills training classes, on Thursday, 27 Jan 2022, at 2pm.
This class is the instructor session in support of the IC-led didactic and practical sessions in support of the three 2021 EMT Scope of Practice Expansion Skills (nebulizers, CPAP, and acquisition of 12-lead ECGs).
NOTE: In order to TEACH the EMT SOP course as a lead instructor, you must be a Maine EMS licensed Paramedic IC.
This will be a 1 - 1.5 hour session, Length may vary with attendance and participation.
We will cover guidance on course content and skills competency verification, as well as how to apply for CEHs. Questions should be directed to Chris Azevedo, Education Coordinator at Maine EMS. christopher.azevedo@maine.gov
You MUST be both registered and logged into the webinar to receive IC CEH credits. Attendance via computer and phone is tracked by the ZOOM platform.
