Maine Moose Permit Lottery

The Maine moose permit drawing will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Farmington, Maine!

This year's moose permit drawing is part of the High Peaks Outdoor Heritage Festival at the Farmington Fairgrounds.

The event includes a variety of vendors and free family friendly activities:

• Moose calling demonstration and a youth moose calling contest
• Demonstrations, panels, and talks with expert guides, passionate storytellers, and more
• Dunk tank
• Learn the art of Gyotaku fish printing
• Live music all day in the gazebo
• Food trucks
• Vendors including local artisans, outdoor gear specialists, and creative merchants
