Protocol Update Group Attendance for Webinars

EMS Agency Leadership,

As you know, the statewide 2025 Maine EMS Protocol Update training is mandatory for all EMS clinicians practicing in Maine. The Protocol Update webinar trainings are scheduled over the next several months. To provide a more convenient training option for your clinicians, Maine EMS is pleased to offer a new, structured process for agencies and other entities to host a group viewing of these webinars.

This option is designed to facilitate group learning while ensuring the integrity and proper documentation of Continuing Education Hours (CEH) for all attendees.

The process requires a designated Point-of-Contact (POC) from your organization to manage the session, proctor the official roster, and handle the submission of training records.

For a complete overview of the requirements, responsibilities, and the step-by-step process, please review the attached Group Webinar Attendance Policy & Instructions document.

We believe this will be a valuable option for many services. The first step for any interested organization is for the designated POC to contact their Maine EMS Regional Manager to request access to the group viewing course type in the licensing system.

For questions regarding this process, please contact Maine EMS
