The Week of the Young Child, April 1-7, 2023, is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Maine Association for the Education of Young Children (MAEYC) and the Maine Department of Education support this annual celebration by offering resources and creative ideas to engage young children and families. For events planned by MEAYC check out their events page. For more resources about WOYC, visit each organizations website or check out the 2023 WOYC Planning Guide. Don't forget to use the #WOYC2023 to share all the engaging ways children, families, and educators are participating in the Week of the Young Child.
