Two NEW Options for Employment First Orientations this Fall!
Target Audience: Case Managers, Care Coordinators, Community Resource Coordinators, OADS staff including Public Guardians, Resource Coordinators, OADS-QA.
This is intended for new staff or for those who need additional information or a refresher on Employment Services and available resources.
OADS will be offering two NEW options this fall for Employment First Orientation.
- October 23rd, 9:00 am to 11:00 am; OR
- November 3rd, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Goals of this Training:
- Learn about good employment including the definition and best practices for supporting people on a path to work
- Receive and learn about resources and tools for you to be able to support people
- Understand the services available to people to explore work, get a job, and then have long term support
- Explore how other services connecting to community and building skills support employment
You will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 2.0 hours after completing the training. You will be required to submit answers to questions at the end of the training and submit them to OADS for access to a certificate and resources/power point. Please be prepared to answer poll questions, participate in conversation, and take the post test. You will need to be at a computer during training.
