CORS Network Update
MaineDOT is shutting down it's current Maine Real-Time Network (CORS) on October 1, 2025.
Current users wishing to sign up for the new MaineDOT real time network and continue using the service MUST re-apply to set up accounts, user names and passwords. Please review the complete notice and sign up instructions below.

Survey Section: The Survey Section of the Property Office manages the MaineDOT GPS Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) program and provides State Plane Coordinates and Datum Elevations for MaineDOT's preliminary and construction engineering projects, as well as data referencing older surveys and older Right of Way Maps. Contact Jason Everett for matters regarding CORS Set-up or to report problems with the CORS.
Right of Way Research Section: The Right of Way Research Section locates Right of Way Maps for Maine highways for use within MaineDOT as well as for private surveyors and the general public. Please request Right of Way Maps from Joel White at via email

To access CORS RINEX data or use the MaineDOT Real-Time Network (CORS Virtual Reference System), a valid login and password are required.
Please visit medotrtn.maine.gov to register for an account. This is now a self-service process, allowing you to select your own Organization, Username, and Password.
Please be sure to record your credentials carefully, as all entries are case-sensitive.
