2022-2023
Nickie Deschaine- State President
Nickie Deschaine served as the 2022-2023 Maine FFA President and has been active in FFA since 2017. She has served as the past year's 2021-2022 Maine FFA President, conducting class presentations, workshops and the 2022 Maine FFA State Convention. She participated in Prepared Public Speaking at the 2019 Maine FFA State Convention and during two years of statewide virtual FFA competitions, she won first place in Creed & Prepared Public Speaking, as well as also participating in Employability Skills, Floriculture and Veterinary Science. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience, in which she won a 2022 proficiency award, is in the area of Vegetable Production, racking potatoes and other vegetables, and working on the harvester at a local farm. She has served as her high school Class President and been active in Youth in Government and Student Council. She has been particularly active in a broad range of community development activities, including work on the Relay for Life and on a keychain making fundraiser, among others.
2022-2023
Lane Mccrum- State Vice President
Lane McCrum served as the 2022-2023 Maine FFA Vice President, having been active in FFA since 2017 and completing three years of office for the Mars Hill FFA Chapter, including as Junior Advisor. Lane's Supervised Agricultural Experience is in Vegetable Production. He has participated in four years of state convention, the Northern Maine Fair, and many FFA workshops and events and fundraisers. He won the 2020-2021 Student of the Year at this school and has been active in varsity soccer and ski team. In both 2021 and 2022, Lane won the Winter Carnival Snow Sled competition. He has been involved for many years in County Super Spuds, his family's business that includes many varieties of potatoes, as well as clover as a cover crop.

Delaney McKeen- State Vice President
Delaney McKeen served the 2021-2022 Maine FFA Vice President, having been active in FFA since 2017 and serving as a Junior State FFA Officer as Reporter-Sentinel in 2020-2021. She has served as her Mars Hill FFA Chapter Vice President and as Reporter. Delaney's Supervised Agricultural Experience is in Home/Community Development. She has participated in State Conventions in 2018 and 2019, placing in a number of speaking events, including winning the Creed event at the state level, as well as participating in livestock related events at the Northern Maine Fair and a number of virtual FFA competitions. Outside of FFA, Delaney is active on both the high school soccer and cheerleading teams, serving as her Class Secretary/Treasurer and participating in National Honor Society and Youth in Government.
2021-2022
Ryder Brewer- State Secretary-Treasurer
Ryder Brewer served as the 2021-2022 Maine FFA Secretary-Treasurer and has been active in FFA since 2017. He has served as his Mars Hill FFA Chapter Vice President and Historian. He has also served as his Class President and been involved in Youth in Government. Ryder was involved in the 2018 and 2019 Maine FFA State Conventions, particularly in areas related to animal science, as well as in Extemporaneous Public Speaking, and also participated in the 2020 and 2021 virtual statewide FFA activities, placing first in Horse Evaluation. With an Supervised Agricultural Experience in Vegetable Production, Ryder worked at a local potato house. Outside of FFA, Ryder has been very active in a range of sports, having been a member of the varsity soccer, baseball and basketball teams, including the 2019 Class D Maine State Soccer Championship team.
2020-2021
Izabelle Higgins- State President
Izabelle Higgins served as the 2020-2021 Maine FFA President and has been active in FFA since 2018. She has previously served as Presque Isle's Chapter President and Treasurer. She has attended both the State and National FFA Conventions, participating in Horse Evaluation, Agricultural Sales and the Agriscience Fair, winning first place in Agricultural Sales at the state level. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience is in the area of Agricultural Production, for which she won a 2020 proficiency award based on her development and management of "Purely Good Creations" horse grooming products. Izabelle was the 2019-2020 Maine FFA Chapter Officer of the Year. She has extensive equestrian experience, both in riding and showing, winning many championships and is a member of the Maine and American Quarter Horse Youth Associations, as well as being active in 4-H. Outside of FFA and 4-H, Izabelle has also been active on her school's varsity Alpine Skiing team.

Kerigan Guerette- State Vice President
Kerigan Guerrette served as the 2020-2021 Maine FFA Vice President and has been active in FFA since 2018. She has previously served as Chapter Officer for the Caribou FFA. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience is in the area of Agricultural Sales, with experience as a potato shipping consultant. Outside of FFA, Kerigan has been active in volunteerism and on her school's soccer team, for which she won an MVP award. She has been active for many years in dance, winning a number of awards.
2020-2021
Emily Ward- State Secretary
Emily Ward served as the 2020-2021 Maine FFA Secretary and has been active in FFA for over 5 years. She served as her Rockville, Connecticut Chapter Secretary and Vice President before enrolling in the Sustainable Agriculture program at the University of Maine, Orono, Emily has been active in her chapter's Agricultural Literacy Day and has participated on and coached teams in the FFA Floriculture and Aquaculture events. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience has included work in the areas of greenhouse management, horticulture, animal care and agricultural education. During her senior year in high school, she organized and conducted the district FFA competitions that included State Officers and the National FFA President. Outside of FFA, Emily is an Honors student who has been active in community events and has participated for many years in martial arts.

Brandon Dube- State Treasurer
Brandon Dubie served as the 2020-2021 Maine FFA Treasurer and has been active in FFA since 2018 and has served as the Presque Isle FFA Treasurer. His Supervised Agricultural Experience is in the area of Forest Management and Products for which he won a proficiency award. He has helped to guide the Presque Isle Middle School FFA. Outside of FFA, Brandon has been active in both varsity cross country and in track and field.

Delaney McKeen is the 2020-2021 Maine FFA Reporter-Sentinel, serving as a Junior State FFA Officer, having been active in FFA since 2017. She has served as her Mars Hill FFA Chapter Reporter. Delaney's Supervised Agricultural Experience is in Home/Community Development. She has been very active in FFA speaking events, winning the Creed event at the state level, as well as participating in livestock related events at the Northern Maine Fair. Outside of FFA, Delaney is active on both the high school soccer and cheerleading teams.
2019-2020
Camryn Curtis- State Vice President
Camryn Curtis served as the 2019-2020 Maine FFA Vice President and has been active in FFA for over 5 years. She has previously served as Ashland’s Chapter Sentinel and as their Chapter Historian. She assisted the 2018-2019 Maine FFA State Officers in presenting the Northern Maine Leadership Conference. She has attended two years of FFA events at the Eastern States Exposition in areas including Floriculture and Dairy Cattle Evaluation, and participated in Horse Evaluation at the State FFA Convention, earning second place individual. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience is in the area of Agricultural Education. Camryn has participated in the Read ME Agriculture Program, reading to and talking with local elementary school students. Outside of FFA, Camryn has been in her school band and been a member of the Golf, Softball, and Volleyball teams. She has earned awards in General Biology, Geography, and Maine Youth Leadership Camp Leadership.
2019-2020
Ava Cameron- State Secretary-Treasurer
Ava Cameron is the 2019-2020 Maine FFA Secretary-Treasurer and has been active in FFA for over four years. She has participated in the Eastern States Exposition Employability Skills event, as well as being a member of the second place Dairy Cattle Evaluation team at State FFA Convention for her home FFA chapter of Ashland High School. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience is in the area of Poultry Production, caring for a flock of over 30 hens, and marketing eggs to local customers. Ava has participated in the Read ME Agriculture Program, reading to and talking with local elementary school students. Outside of FFA, she is Ashland’s Class of 2021 Secretary, and has been involved in the Soccer and Cross Country Ski Teams. She has been an active member of the Ashland High School Band, as well as the Middle School and High School All Aroostook bands. She helps with fundraisers and special events at the Ashland Logging Museum.
2018-2019
James Hotham- State Vice President
James Hotham is the 2018-2019 Maine FFA Association State Vice President. He has been involved in FFA for over three years, attending the Washington Leadership Conference. He has participated in a number of FFA speaking events and the Dairy Evaluation competition at the state level. James began helping at his family's veterinary clinic when he was 12 years old. Outside of FFA, James has participated in National Honor Society, Math Team, Fellowship Club, and Chorus. He is active in the Student Council at his school, having served as Class Vice President and Class Secretary.
