Overseen by Jason Wade, OTL-CEAS, Ergonomic Program Manager, and supported by Trish Chubbuck, Ergonomic Program Coordinator, the State of Maine Ergonomic Prevention & Peer Evaluation Program is managed by MaineGeneral Medical Center and is contracted and supported by the State of Maine Office of Employee Health, Wellness, & Workers’ Compensation.

The State of Maine Ergonomic Prevention & Peer Evaluator Program provides ergonomic assessment services for State of Maine employees in office, home, vehicle, as well as any workplace environment. Assessments can be conducted in person or virtually when a special need, accommodation, or injury requires it. The program also offers individualized chair fittings to help employees achieve the best possible ergonomic fit and comfort. In addition, peer evaluator training and ongoing support are available to State employees who provide ergonomic workstation evaluations for colleagues within their work locations. Specialty ergonomic services are also available upon request. Along with ergonomic assessments, ergonomic training can be provided upon request for groups of employees looking for education on this topic.
