We are responsible for how state employees are recruited, classified, and paid. We administer employee benefit programs and provide advice and counsel to managers in labor relation issues. We are responsible for providing our managers with the skills and knowledge needed to manage people effectively with an emphasis on a high concern for state employees as people.
