Work Set To Begin on Cold Brook Road Bridge

Starting this Monday, April 12, MaineDOT bridge maintenance crews will begin work on the rehabilitation of the Cold Brook Road Bridge which spans I-95 at exit 180 in Hampden.

Motorists will be limited to one lane of alternating one-way traffic regulated by signal lights. Crews will first be removing the old bridge decking, then installing new bridge decking, new curbing, and new railing along the bridge. The project is expected to be completed within three months.

Motorists who travel I-95 underneath the bridge will experience lane shifts and occasional lane closures during the construction period.
