Bangor ? CPM Constructors continues to work on Interstate 95 during the overnight hours on the Union Street Bridge project over I-95 in Bangor. This work involves closing one lane of traffic at a time northbound and/or southbound to allow for construction to take place safely between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Work will be phased to allow for only one lane to be shut down at a time. The current closure schedule for the week of May 1st is as follows:
Sunday, May 1st: The southbound travel lane, southbound on-ramp and the northbound travel lane will be closed.
Monday, May 2nd: The southbound travel lane, the northbound passing lane and the southbound on-ramp will be closed.
Tuesday, May 3rd: The southbound passing lane and the northbound travel lane will be closed.
Wednesday, May 4th: The southbound travel lane and the northbound travel lane will be closed.
Thursday, May 5th: The southbound travel lane and the northbound travel lane will be closed.
Motorists are advised to follow the appropriate construction signage and detour routes to help guide through the work zones and detours safely.
